MAKEUP TIP OF THE WEEK
Hello Beauties!
Makeup has really evolved over the years from dark smoky eyes to pencil thin eyebrows, to winged eyeliners, and full threaded brows. Makeup artists and gurus are setting trends one brush stroke at a time and keep us looking flawless. With makeup being so widely accepted now, there are lots of new tips in the bag. I’m sure you’ve heard of hacks like using a piece of scotch tape to perfect that winged liner, or applying a little moisture to your beauty blender to get that foundation blended just right. Or just using the brush tip of your L.A. Girl concealer. But this particular tip may not be as popular, but I'm here to say that it works! Go ahead, scroll on down to get this tea.
Sometimes having lots of makeup brushes and products only make it easier for them to go ghost on you just when you need them. What do you do when you can’t find your favorite eyebrow concealer brush? Well you just can't leave brows undone, no hunty, so just pull out a Q Tip.
Yasss, Come Through Q Tip!
Now obviously the Q Tip is typically used for hygienic purposes, but believe me when I say that it can actually be an essential backup tool when it comes to makeup artistry. Using it as a concealer brush or applicator is really easy and almost as effective as the real thing. All you need to do is get a firm Q Tip (because the fluffy ones will not do the trick), and place a little bit of your favorite concealer on it. Angle that Q Tip the same way you would your angled brush but use more of the tip to simply stroke over areas under your brow. Remember, being that the tip of the Q Tip is made from pure cotton, it will absorb the concealer, so chances are you won’t need to add any more product as it will hold enough. The beauty of this is that it’s quick and easy, will blend well, and will clean up great too. Truth be told, the Q Tip is also excellent at cleaning up lipstick spillage, and that annoying mascara excess that can end up on your lids after applying.
Conclusion
Makeup is a tool that is used universally to enhance your natural beauty. It wouldn’t be as widely accepted today if it wasn’t relatable and adaptable with some tips and tricks. Hope you beauties enjoyed this article and find it useful. Stay tuned for more Makeup Tips from BeForeverglammed coming your way each week using items you already have around your house.
